Though Opal may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Opal touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Fain and Lovine Adams Fain; and her husband Hubert Beavers. She is survived by: her niece Rebecca Goforth; and her nephew Edwin Evans.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Crowell Brothers Peachtree Chapel (5051 Peachtree Industrial Blvd, Peachtree Corners, GA 30092). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Peachtree Memorial Park (5051 Peachtree Industrial Blvd, Peachtree Corners, GA 30092).
