She was predeceased by: her husband Walton Cross; her son Rickey Cross; her parents, Herschel Martin and Ollie Simmons Martin; and her brothers, Harold Martin, L. C. Martin and Herman Martin.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Thornhill (Randy) of Buford, GA and Sheila Forrester (Joe) of Auburn; her grandchildren, Cyndi Umphreyville of Flowery Branch, GA, Richard Cross of Joplin, MO, Joseph Cross of Joplin, Scott Forrester (Joanna) of Tallahassee, FL and Ryan Forrester (Courtney) of Hoschton, GA; and her sister-in-law Nanette Cross of Buford. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren; three great-greatgrandchildren.
