Mavis Tummings Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mavis Tummings in Kingston, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 16, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Mavis shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Mavis farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mulvina Brown and Joseph Brown; and her daughter Pauline. She is survived by: her husband Raymond F. Tummings; and her children, Errol, Conroy, Janet, Audrey, Doreen, Donna, Judith and Raymond Jr.. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, and all extended family.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel (3481 Hamilton Mill Rd, Buford, GA 30519). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
