Mary Ruth Cross Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 1, 2023, at the age of 88, Mary Ruth Cross (Buford, Georgia), born in Leitchfield, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Cletus Whitfill and Clara Whitfill; and her siblings, Martha Rose Whitfill, Ann Portman, Regina Meredith and Charles Whitfill.

She is survived by: her children, Jeannine Baylot (Michael), Joe Brand Jr. (Jane), Tom Brand (Sheena), Tim Brand (Carole), Chris Brand (Cindy) and Philip Brand; and her siblings, Raymond Whitfill (Beaulah), Michael Whitfill (Joyce), John Whitfill (Pam), Agnes Gulley, Marie Ice (Raymond), Helen Whitfill and Maureen Madura. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society of Mary Our Queen Church, 6260.
