In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Laymon Scott, Sr. and Ethel Lee Cooper Scott; and his siblings, Ruth Scott and James A. Scott. He is survived by: his wife Sonya Scott; his stepchildren, Henderson Wood IV and Anastacia Wood; his sister Penny Scott; and his nephew Zachary Scott-Sedley. He is also survived by numerous cousins and other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Crowell Brothers Peachtree Chapel (5051 Peachtree Industrial Blvd, Peachtree Corners, GA 30092). A memorial service was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
