She was predeceased by: her husband George Carlton Burdette (Carl); her parents, Lihu Waits Woods and Sally Wilma Boyd; and her brother Larry Waits Woods. She is survived by: her children, George Carlton Burdette, Jr. (Buz), Forrest Wade Burdette (Holly) and Allison Ann Heusel (David); and her grandchildren, Andrew Zackary Burdette (Margaret), Heather Mae Heusel Schmidt (Daniel), Harrison David Heusel and Landon Cole Burdette.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Ivy Creek Baptist Church (2500 Ivy Creek Rd, Buford, GA 30519). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at the Ivy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery (2500 Ivy Creek Rd, Buford, GA 30519).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ivy Creek Church building fund or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
