She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Mathis, Sr. and Barbara Ann Mathis; and her grandmother Kate "Mimi" Carver. She is survived by: her husband Jason; her daughters, Margaret and Mackenzie Mincey of Buford; and her brother Richard Mathis, Jr. of Cartersville. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
