He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Maddox and Willene Maddox; and his siblings, Juanita Maddox, Allene Ruffner and Wendell Maddox.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Maddox of Buford; his child Gail Pittman of Honea Path, SC.; and his brother Gary Maddox (Donna) of Loudon, TN. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
