She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Richardson and Mamie Herring Richardson; her husband Roy H. Brogdon; her stepson Roy D. Brogdon; and her brother Charles W. Richardson.
She is survived by: her grandson Jeffrey Brogdon (Jonica); her great grandchildren, Judson of Suwanee, GA and Jackson Brogdon of Suwanee, GA; her daughter-in-law Sandra Brogdon of Suwanee, GA; her sisters, Jimmie Ruth Norris of Hartwell, Selma Isom of Hartwell and Linda Partain (Jimmy) of Hartwell; and her brother-in-law Bob Brogdon (Jean) of Loganville, GA.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell (305 Cleveland Ave, Hartwell, GA 30643). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell (305 Cleveland Ave, Hartwell, GA 30643). A burial was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Peachtree Memorial Park (5051 Peachtree Industrial Blvd, Norcross, GA 30092).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cornerstone Baptist Church, 1543 Anderson Hwy, Hartwell GA 30643.
