Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved James Lawrence Mengwasser (Buford, Georgia), who passed away at the age of 64, on October 19, 2024. He was predeceased by: his mother Judith Ann Thedinga; and his brother John Steven. He is survived by: his father James "Mengo" Mengwasser (Chamblee); his siblings, Judith Marie and Jeffrey Allen (Amanda Mengwasser); his wife Sally Mengwasser of Buford; his children, Ashley Mengwasser (Canton) and Jim Mengwasser (Buford); and his siblings, Judy Collins (Shane Murphy), Andy (Stephanie Ulrich) and Donna Eggleston (James Keever). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Flanigan Funeral Home (4400 S Lee St, Buford, GA 30518). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
Remembrances can be made in Jim's honor through contributions to the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia.
