He was predeceased by: his wife Bernelia "Bunni" Battle; and his son Scott Preston Battle. He is survived by: his children, Brady Battle (Mary) of Hoschton, GA, Guy Battle (Sheila) of Jefferson, GA, Owen Battle (Julia) of Hoschton, GA, Mark Battle of Lawrenceville, GA, Cody Battle of Braselton, GA and Kim Elise Dobbs of St. George, UT. He is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephew, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Flanigan Funeral Home (4400 S Lee St, Buford, GA 30518). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home (4400 S Lee St, Buford, GA 30518). An entombment will be held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at the Memorial Park South Cemetery (4121 Falcon Pkwy, Flowery Branch, GA 30542).
