Derek Howell Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 20, 2024, at the age of 64, Derek Howell of Buford, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Derek departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Derek may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Derek leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Velma Howell and Edward Howell; and his siblings, Gaytra and Edward. He is survived by: his siblings, Deidra Winston, Xavier Howell, Sherrie Brown (Kelvin) and Diantre Howell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Sims Funeral Home - East Point (2968 E Point St, East Point, GA 30344).
