With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Deborah Lynn Padgett of Buford, Georgia, born in Butler, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 15, 2024 at the age of 75. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Purvis and Elene Purvis; her husband Weldon Leon Padgett; and her son Walter Eugene Thrailkill. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Brandon Thrailkill and Heather Thrailkill; her sister Karen Peters (Bob) of Oxford, GA; her nieces and nephews, Candy, Lisa, Jamie and Jeffrey; her brother Alan Purvis (Brenda) of Covington, GA; her nieces and nephews, Shawn and Mitchell; and her brother-in-law Larry Padgett.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Flanigan Funeral Home (4400 S Lee St, Buford, GA 30518). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Broadlawn Memorial Gardens (5979 New Bethany Rd, Buford, GA 30518).
In lieu of flowers, Deborah requested donations be made to the American Cancer Society in her memory.
