He was predeceased by: his daughter Jackie; his son-in-law Larry Beacham; his parents, W. E. Reed and Mollie Garrett Reed; his siblings, Virginia Freeman and James Reed; his sister-in-law Reba Reed; and his parents-in-law, Agnes and Virgil Beacham.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Beacham Reed of Buford; his children, Scott Reed (Silvia) of Gainesville and Danalyn Reckner (Bill) of Hoschton; his grandchildren, Beth Reed of Lawrenceville, Tiffany Reed of Pensacola, FL, Fernando Castillo of Gainesville and Derek Beacham (Crystal) of Statham; his great grandchildren, Rhiannon, Declan, Levi, Angel and Jade; his brothers, Garrett Reed of Buford and Stanley Reed (Sandra) of Buford; and his siblings-in-law, Darroll Freeman of Cedartown and Sheila Reed of Buford. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family and many friends.
