He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Furman Angel and Hattie Messer Angel. He is survived by: his wife Janice W. Angel; his son Eric William Angel (Kelly); his grandchildren, Izzy Angel and Zach Angel of Alpharetta, GA; and his siblings, Dean Benjamin of Greenville, SC and Douglas Angel of Williamsburg, KY. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews who were very dear to their uncle.
