She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Tipton and Louise Tipton; and her brother Larry Tipton. She is survived by: her husband Gary Gound; her brother Terry Tipton; her son Todd Byrd; her stepchildren, Matthew Gound and Anna Frazier; and her grandchildren, Amanda, Sara Byrd, Mason and Merritt Gound. She is also survived by many friends and neighbors.

A memorial service was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Flanigan Funeral Home (4400 S Lee St, Buford, GA 30518).
