He is survived by: his daughters, Pamela Chalkley DeLapp of Buena Vista, GA and Jana Chalkley Martin (Matt) of Fortson, GA; his grandchildren, Colton Lee DeLapp, Reese Lydia Martin and Rylie Louise Martin; his sister-in-law Mary Ann Chalkley; and his brothers, Leon Elder, Eddie Elder (Peggy), Joe Elder (Shirley), Melvin Collins, Ben Elder (Missy), Danny Elder (Laurel) and John Elder.
Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Buena Vista, GA.
