He was predeceased by: his parents, Riner Paul McCorkle and Mollie Ivey McCorkle; and his siblings, Jesse R. McCorkle, Joe T. McCorkle, C. R. McCorkle, Louise Pisarri, Marianne Hudson and Janice McCorkle.
He is survived by: his wife Doris M. McCorkle of Buena Vista, GA; his children, Jason McCorkle of Centralia, IL, Dawn Ferguson (Gary) of Venice, FL and Jill Jones (Justin) of Zionville, IN; his sisters, Elizabeth Lehman and Rena Difilipo; his sister-in-law Pauline McCorkle of Buena Vista, GA; and his grandchildren, Sidney McCorkle, Grant Burgess and Sarah Howell.
