She was predeceased by: her parents, George Kenneth and Vivian May Smith; her husband James H. Thornton; and her siblings, George Ford, Jr., Walter Ford and Barbara Dingman.
She is survived by: her brother Chester "Chet" Ford (Marilyn); her pastor Audrey Hall; her daughters, Emily Ramirez (Carlos) and Luz Santiago; and her pet Tiny Bubbles. She is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
