Penny Rogers Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Penny Rogers of Buena Vista, Georgia, born in Oxford, Georgia, who passed away on March 26, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Herrington and Elliott Herrington of Atlanta; and her sister Margaret Quay Smith. She is survived by: her husband Dr. John Rogers; her sister Lynne Kuglar (Larry) of Cedartown, Georgia; her children, Danny Rogers (Diane) of Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania and Cindy Wawro (Terry) of Seneca; her granddaughters, Amber Friend (Joel), Aleta Rogers (Lior Rennert) and Ashley Rogers; and her great grandchildren, Noah John, Avelyn and Aurora. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Buena Vista United Methodist Church, the New Community Church, Wexford, Pennsylvania, the First United Methodist Church of Cedartown, or Pasaquan via Columbus State University.
