He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael B. Wells, Sr. and Nettilee Highnote Wells; his siblings, Glenn Wells, Jim Wells, Ethel Helms, Louise Duke, Margie Spears and Linda Joiner; and his grandson Alexander Michael Bluestone.
He is survived by: his wife Deanie; his children, Perry Wells (Leslie) of Macon, GA, Patricia Bluestone (Stan McGlaun) of Celina, TN, Randy Wells (Linda) of Atlanta, GA, David Wells (Sandy) of Buena Vista, GA and Julie Brown (Frank) of Buena Vista, GA.; and his great grandchildren, Olivia McDonald, Pace McKarvich and Isla McDonald.
