She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett Morris and Martha Lou Hogg Wells. She is survived by: her children, Allison Paige Powell Mock of Tazewell, GA, Averett Payton Powell (Penny) of Roberta, GA and Adam Patrick Powell (Tina) of Cherry Log, GA; her grandchildren, Adam Icard (Julia) of Columbus, GA, Mindy Harris (Hunter) of Roberta, GA, Chase Tyler of Columbus, Christopher Nichols (Kaylee) of Kathleen, GA, Cody Nichols (Tami) of Ellijay, GA, Alex Powell (Sierra) of Ellijay, GA and Madison Powell of St. Augustine, FL; her great grandchildren, Raeleigh, Adalin, Ansley, Brynlee, Addison, Luna, Troy and Avery; and her sisters, Elaine Welch (Curtis) of Tazewell, GA and Emily Welch (Taylor) of Tazewell, GA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Tazewell Community Church.
