He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Simmons and Virginia Moore Cobb; his stepfather Glenn H. Cobb, Sr.; and his brother Glenn H. Cobb, Jr.. He is survived by: his sister Deborah Simmons Dennard of Phenix City, AL; and his cousin Terry Hudson (Patti) of Butler, GA. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family.
