Though Burton may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Williams Wight and Thomas Burton Wight; his wife Jo Phillips Wight; and his siblings, Caroline Wight McDaniel and William Lawrence Wight.
He is survived by: his sons, Thomas Burton Wight III and Steven Phillips Wight (Dawn); and his grandchildren, Thomas Meeks (Claudio), Thad Meeks (Carol) and Tiffany Meeks. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Buena Vista Cemetery.
