Betty Lightner Barwick Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Lightner Barwick of Buena Vista, Georgia, who passed away on January 12, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Austin and Wilmoth Tondee Lightner; her husband Lindsey; and her brothers, Lawrence Lightner and Lewis Lightner.
She is survived by: her daughter Christy Carcaba (Carl) of Buena Vista, GA; her grandchildren, Kimberly DeVane (Trey) of Ellaville, GA, Seth Baugh (Amy) of Savannah, GA and Casey Carcaba (Tonia) of St. Augustine, FL; her great grandchildren, Kacey Register, Ethan Register, Camden Pritchard and Gage Devane; her siblings, Billy Lightner (Alice) of Ellaville, GA, Angie McMickle of Ellaville, GA and Mary; her grandmother Pilcher (Sammy) of Ellaville, GA; and her sisters-in-law, June Lightner of Ellaville, Carol Sue Devane of Ellaville and Elaine Barwick of Ellaville. She is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
