She was predeceased by: her parents, Curlie Johnson, Sr. and Mary Powell Johnson; her spouse Willie Oliver Wooden, Jr.; and her brother Lejeson Chatman. She is survived by: her sons, Darius Wooden (Terri) and Jeffery Wooden; her grandchildren, Ta-Nycia Wooden, Chanequa Attah (Pastor Godwin), Derenski Wooden, Quinton Walters, Georgia Dominique Muff, Sharde Muff, Cordero Cannon and Bianca Muff; her siblings, Willie Mae Jackson, Evelyn Spencer, Gladys Boykin, Walter Johnson, Curlie Johnson, Jr. (Inez) and Patricia Thrash (Retired); and her friends, Lynn Harris, Rebecca Phelps and Janice Walton. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews other relatives.
Other masked attendees are welcomed but will be expected to practice social distancing. Graveside services, including burials, are likely to be held on ground that is uneven, which is out of the control of Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. We ask that you take this into consideration when choosing footwear, such as shoes with high, thin heels.
