It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Albert Slaughter Sr. of Buena Vista, Georgia, who passed away on March 24, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Minnie Slaughter of Buena Vista and Georgia. He is survived by: his children, Albert Slaughter Jr. and Earleen Norrell; his wife Videll Slaughter of Stone Mountain; his children, Lenora Brown of Decatur and Randolph Slaughter (Dawn) of Sicklerville, NJ; his daughter-in-law Sandra Slaughter of Riverdale, GA; his brother Henry Foster (Beatrice) of Teaneck, NJ; his sister-in-law Eliza Upshaw of Stone Mountain, GA.; his grandchildren, Demond Staton (Nicole), David Brown Jr. (Ianara), Albert LeRalph III, Krystal McPhail (Dezma Sr), Sean Norrell and Aseshilya Broadley; and his great grandchildren, Lamya, Arianna, LeRalph, Levoris, London, Cameron and Dezma Jr.. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
