He was predeceased by: his father Thomas Meads, Sr.; and his siblings, Ricky Meads and Beth Lipko. He is survived by: his mother Kay Frances Hight Meads; his wife Gail Meads of Buckhead, GA; his sister Cathy Rhine of Raleigh, NC; and his pets, Sunshine, Willie, Pearl and Starlight.

A Celebration of Tom's Life will be held at the Elk's Lodge, Ste. 2070, 1116 Lake Oconee Pkwy, Eatonton, GA 31024 on Sunday, January, 29, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. Any memorials may be made to Circle of Friends Animal Society, P. O. Box 1235, Greensboro, GA 30642.
