It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Oscar Buice Jr. of Buckhead, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on July 29, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. James Oscar Buice, Sr. and Flora Patterson Buice; and his sister JoAnn Prater. He is survived by: his wife Mae Holloway Buice; his daughters, Gayle Buice Holmes (Jimmy) and Jill Buice Luciani (Mark); his grandchildren, Trae Holmes (Amber), Jesse Arwood (Roxana), James Arwood (Leah) and Susanne Bell (Eric); and his great grandchildren, Olivia Taylor, Anna Bell, Bailey Dillard, Ariel Holmes, Dalton Arwood and Emily Bell.
