It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen Hunter of Buckhead, Georgia, who passed away on September 4, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Adams and Birdie Adams; her husband James Horace Hunter Sr.; her daughter Teresa Hunter Conner; her granddaughter Gabrielle Hunter; and her siblings, Catherine Branam, Margaret Oakes, Linda Holbrook and Terry Adams.
She is survived by: her children, James Horace "Butch" Hunter Jr. (Kristine) of Gainesville, GA, Jane Hunter (Lori) of Buckhead, GA and Dwayne Hunter (Letha) of Statham; her siblings, Sheila Wallace and Wayne Adams (Shirley); her grandchildren, Erica Davis, Felicia Abercrombie, Tony Conner, Andrew Hunter, Tim Conner, Michael and Adam Hunter; and her great grandchildren, McKenzie Manders, Kayli Abercrombie, Bailee Hunter, Evan Davis, Hunter Abercrombie, Alivia Abercrombie, Charles Conner, Anastasia Conner, Kaison Conner, Abby Bryan, Logan McCart and Matthew McCart.
