With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Christopher Cunningham Herod of Buckhead, Georgia, born in Grove Hill, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 4, 2024 at the age of 59. He is survived by: his wife Renate Marie Gonzales; his sons, Ethan of Bluffton, SC and Alexander "Sasha" (Sasha) of Marietta, GA; his parents, James Herod and Martha Herod of Buckhead, GA; his brothers, Scott (Tina) of Lafayette, CO and Alan (Terri) of Atlanta, GA; and his aunts, Elizabeth Murdock (Mickey) of Huntsville, AL and Frances Ohme of Grove Hill, AL.. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
