She was predeceased by: her parents, John I. Gaulding and Katherine Shugart Gaulding; and her husband Richard Kay Cook (Dick). She is survived by: her children, Kay Cook Bryant and Richard Kay Cook, Jr.; her daughters-in-law, Hannah Cook (John Christopher Cook) and Carla Brady Cook; her granddaughter-in-law Kristen Appleby Bryant; her granddaughters, Katherine Cook Bryant and Chelsea Cook McGinnis; and her grandson-in-law Walter James McGinnis. She is also survived by her parents, her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Covenant Presbyterian Church (2461 Peachtree Rd, Atlanta, GA 30305).
