He is survived by: his wife Peggy Proctor Richards of Buchanan; his daughters, Melissa Richards Barclay (Kenneth), Michele Richards Messner (Philip), Tara Richards Smith (Brandon) and Lisa Lingo Aldridge (Mike); his sister Barbara Richards Layton; his brother-in-law Hoyt of Tallapoosa; his grandchildren, Jay, Micheala, Lara, Skylar, Paisley, Griffin and Nolin; and his great grandchildren, Carter and Bryson. He is also survived by several other relatives and friends.
