He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Howard Carroll and Vesta York Carroll; and his son Shannon LaBonte. He is survived by: his daughter Suzanne Robinson of Tallapoosa; his sisters, Brenda (Hal Cash), Sara (Troy Stapler), Shelby (Earnest House) and Linda (Bruce Manning); and his grandchildren, Dru Jiles, Wendy Robinson, Rebecca LaBonte, Jessica LaBonte and Zakk LaBonte. He is also survived by several other relatives and friends.
