He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lawton Payne and Margaret Lovvorn Payne. He is survived by: his wife Jamie Perry Payne of Buchanan; his children, Gabriel Payne of Bremen, Christen McKay (Dallas) of Villa Rica and Nickolas Payne of Bremen; his grandchildren, Maddux Payne, Sunny-Rae McKay and Judah Payne; his sisters, Peggy Robinson of Bremen and Martha Schiffman (Steve) of Bremen; his mother-in-law Miriam Perry of Buchanan; and his sisters-in-law, Beverly Owens (James) of Fruithurst, Pam Laminack (Johnny) of Fruithurst and Mickie Morrow (Mike) of Fruithurst.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel (71 Park Heights St, Buchanan, GA 30113). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Bremen First Baptist Church (331 Pacific Ave, Bremen, GA 30110).
