She was predeceased by: her parents, James Robert Herron, Jr. and Mable Lillian Jones Herron. She is survived by: her husband Terrell "Terry" Minnix of Buchanan; her daughter Melanie Karyl Minnix; her son-in-law Patrick Duarte of Buchanan; her son Timothy O'Neal Minnix of Buchanan; her siblings, Virginia Gail Holliday of Buchanan, Jackie Herron of Bremen and George Timothy Herron of Jonesboro; and her granddaughter Addie Jane Duarte. She is also survived by several other relatives and friends.
The family request in lieu of flowers donations to be made to the Kansas Baptist Church Student Ministry or to the VFW Post 4911 in Rome, GA.
