We are sad to announce that on January 23, 2025, at the age of 71, Sarah Rebecca Borden of Buchanan, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Sarah is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Sarah's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Amos Borden and Emma Gilmer Borden; and her sisters, Sue Ervin and Hilda Borden. She is survived by: her daughter Lisa; her son-in-law Michael Miles of Bremen; her son Shane Hall of Wichita, Kansas; her siblings, Ruby Barr, Mae Barnett, Carolyn Denson and Junior Borden; and her great grandchild Isabell.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel (71 Park Heights St, Buchanan, GA 30113). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
