It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sara Stanley of Buchanan, Georgia, who passed away on March 31, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Moore and Mary Lou Davis Ballard; and her husband Richard Stanley. She is survived by: her children, Richard Stanley, Miguel Camtu of San Antonio, TX, Gay, Tim Green of Lineville, AL, Thomas and Tanya Stanley of Buchanan; her granddaughter Lydia O'Neal of Bremen; her children, Abbey Starnes of Bremen, Andrew Stanley of Athens, Avery Stanley of Buchanan, Josh Green of Maryland, Jacob Green of Winston-Salem, NC and Jada Green of Charlotte, NC.; and her great grandchildren, Dallas O'Neal, Hughston O'Neal, Madeline Green and Calia Green.
To honor her love of reading, the family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the Friends of the Buchanan-Haralson Library, PO Box 338, Buchanan, GA 30113.
