He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleo Massey and Dot Massey. He is survived by: his wife Pam Sibley Massey; his children, Bradley Jared Pentecost of McKenny Texas and Sonya White of Paulding County; and his brother Kenneth Massey of Douglasville.

The family has asked, in lieu of flowers, please make a donation in remembrance of Richard to Haralson County Foster Care.
