Mattie Griffis Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mattie Griffis of Buchanan, Georgia, who passed away on January 15, 2021 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her parents, John McKibben and Lillie Mae Davis McKibben; her husband Garland Griffis; her children, Randall Griffis and Juanita Benefield; her great grandchild Jarred Barger; and her brother Melvin McKibben.

She is survived by: her daughter Becky; her son-in-law Ricky Weaver of Buchanan; and her sister Martha Jo Lorrens of Rome. She is also survived by six grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; numerous great great grandchild and several other relatives and friends.
