He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Eugene Mason and Rosie Lee Burns Mason; and his wife Elizabeth "Liz" Rowell Mason. He is survived by: his son Jay; his daughter-in-law Robin Mason of Carrollton; his sister Lisa; his brother-in-law Jim Cox of Buchanan; his brother Danny; and his sister-in-law Vickie Mason of Buchanan. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel (71 Park Heights St, Buchanan, GA 30113). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
