With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Bolden Boatwright Sr. of Buchanan, Georgia, born in Talladega, Alabama, who passed away on October 10, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee Boatright and Leo Green Nall; and his brothers, Derl Boatwright, Walter Boatright and Norman Boatright.

He is survived by: his wife Janice Willis Boatwright; his children, Jamee Ellen Boatwright of Buchanan and Jim Boatwright (Ashlyn) of Villa Rica; and his sister Joyce Boatwright Cleghorn of Marietta.
