He was predeceased by: his parents, Admiral Dewey Sims and Lella Cunningham Sims; his daughter Elizabeth; and his grandmother Gillenwaters. He is survived by: his wife Ramona Edge Sims; his son Scott of Buchanan; his daughter-in-law Jolaine Sims of Buchanan; his grandson Chad (Jennifer Sims) of Winder, GA; his great grandchild Jackson Sims; and his sister-in-law Mildred Sims of Louisville, KY.
Flowers are welcome, but the family asks that monetary donations be made to Buchanan United Methodist Church in memory of Jack Sims, PO Box 342, Buchanan, GA 30113.
