He was predeceased by: his son Sammy Carroll Carruth; his parent Isom Herbert Carruth (Annie Beatrice Thomason); his brothers, Donald Carruth and Charlie Carruth; and his brothers-in-law, Price Wilson and Eural Perkins.
He is survived by: his son Joseph Craig Carruth (Kandy); his grandchildren, Chase Carruth (Kaitlynn), Craig Carruth (Alicia) and Amber Amos (David Newbern); his great grandchildren, Morgan Newbern, Lucas Newbertn, Lauralei Carruth, Laynee Carruth and Waylon Carruth; his sisters, Jean Perkins and Patsy Wilson; and his sister-in-law Gail Carruth. He is also survived by Nieces and Nephews.
