He was predeceased by: his parents, J. W. Alexander, Jr. and Lizzie Mae Marlow Alexander; his wife Loretta Bradley Alexander; his sons, Chuck Alexander and Scott Alexander; and his siblings, Carl and Melba. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
