She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey E. Coker and Sue Mitchell Coker Combs; her husband Ralph Reed Bowling; and her siblings, Catherine Spenser, Mary Cates, Carl Coker, Robert Coker, Elton Coker and Welton Coker.
She is survived by: her children, James Franklin (Michelle Bowling), Judy (Gerry Dale), Richard (Cherrie Bowling), Cindy (Jerry Gilbert) and Chris Bowling of Temple; and her grandchildren, Alec, Tonya, Jennifer, Tammy, Matthew, Bryan, Chet, Michelle and Shannon. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, and many extended family.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel (71 Park Heights St, Buchanan, GA 30113). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
