She is survived by: her husband Johnny Akin of Buchanan; her children, Ashley Thompson of Tallapoosa and Justin (Gomer); her daughter-in-law Mallory Akin of Bremen; her grandsons, Seth Thompson, Eli Thompson, Caleb Akin, Barrett Akin, Graham Akin and Sawyer Akin; and her siblings-in-law, Tony Akin and Angie Williams. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
