He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Young and Sarah Chandler Young; and his brother Dennis Young. He is survived by: his wife Dodie Payton Young; his daughter Cindy Bowling; his granddaughter Shannon (Tyler Young); his great grandchild Avery Young; and his siblings-in-law, Pete (Kathryn Payton) and Sadie (David Estep). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
