He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Jeffers and Ruby Bonner Jeffers; his wife Wanda Jeffers; and his son Charles Jeffers, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Becky Colbert of Waco and Michael Jeffers (Christie) of Buchanan; his stepdaughter Melissa Rowell of Bremen; and his brother James Jeffers of Concord, NC. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; one great great grandchild and several other relatives and friends.
