He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Anne Gray Owens; his parents, Harry W. Owens and Audrey Lee Riddle Owens of Brunswick, GA; and his great grandchild Martha Dawkins Owens of Rock Hill, SC.. He is survived by: his son William L. Owens II (Kristy Dawkins Owens) of Longboat Key, FL; and his grandchildren, Charles Gray Owens (Ashley Moore Owens) of Rock Hill, SC and Ashley Owens Sell (John David Sell) of Parkdale, OR. He is also survived by four great grandchildren, He is also survived by four siblings.
